I got my acceptance letter to Youth in Mission about a week ago! I was informed that I was selected for the team going to East Africa. At first I was a little uncertain about what East Africa meant exactly but, I found out that it means that my team will be traveling from Kenya and Tanzania!! I am already getting SO excited for this trip and it is still more than 5 months away!

One of my biggest worries of this trip was raising the money. It really is a lot of money to make this trip possible but, I figured that if this is what God has called me to do then he will provide a way! I just have to believe :) Today at church, the word somehow was already spreading around. On my way out of church a family friend stopped me and told me as soon as I start fund raising to let him know and he will be more than happy to donate! I haven't even started fund raising for this trip and I already see how God is providing for this trip to happen! God is wonderful on so many levels and I am SO glad that he gives us opportunities like this to serve him.
