Last week I got an e-mail from one of the people that I will be working with in Kenya! His name is Japheth Opondo and he lives in the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. As of right now, I am still uncertain of what I will be doing exactly, but I know I will be in Kenya for the first part and then traveling to Tanzania after that!! 

A couple of the other students that are participating in Youth In Mission are currently trying to come up with some good ideas of fundraisers to help pay for the trip. We have not really started on any or raised any money yet, but we are trying to set dates for some of them to get started. I am starting to get a little stressed out about the money, but I know that our God is a God that provides. 

This mission trip is becoming more real to me as time goes on. I recieved my pastport in the mail and now i have to send it off to Youth In Mission for them to verify that I have it. As I start to check things off of my check list I begin to realize that time seems to go by really fast and my trip to Africa is not too far away! Please continue to pray for me and my team, along with the people of East Africa!!
